About This Qualification

The QUALIFI Level 6 Diploma in Risk Assessment & Safety Engineering (delivered as the Britsafe International Diploma in Risk Management and Safety Engineering, endorsed by Qualifi 106/5910/6) is an advanced, engineering-focused safety qualification for practitioners and technical leaders managing risk in high-hazard industries. It combines occupational safety and health management with applied engineering principles, aligned with ISO 45001, ISO 31000, IEC 61508, and OSHA 1910/1926.

BCSP TSP Pathway — Bypass the ASP Exam

This qualification is officially approved under the Board of Certified Safety Professionals’ (BCSP) Qualified Equivalent Program (QEP). Graduates are eligible to apply for the Transitional Safety Practitioner (TSP) designation, which allows them to bypass the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) exam and proceed directly to the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification — one of the most respected safety credentials globally.
