BCSP Transitional Safety Practitioner® (TSP®)
The Transitional Safety Practitioner® (TSP®) is a professional designation offered by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), USA.
TSP is designed for graduates of safety programs recognized by BCSP as Qualified Equivalent Programs (QEPs). Holding the TSP designation fulfills the BCSP Qualified Credential requirement for the Certified Safety Professional® (CSP®), allowing eligible professionals to progress toward CSP without first obtaining the ASP® certification.
Level 6 IDRMSE – A QEP Pathway to TSP
A major advantage for our students is that the Britsafe Level 6 International Diploma in Risk Management and Safety Engineering (IDRMSE), endorsed by Qualifi, is recognized under the BCSP Qualified Equivalent Program (QEP) pathway.
BCSP currently lists:
- Qualified Institution: Britsafe Qualifications UK Limited
- Program: International Diploma in Risk Management and Safety Engineering
- Level: Level 6
- Certification: Endorsed by Qualifi
- BCSP Pathway: Qualified Equivalent Program (QEP) → TSP® → CSP®
After successfully completing the eligible Level 6 IDRMSE (QUALIFI Level 6 Diploma) qualification and receiving the required Qualifi-endorsed credential, eligible graduates can apply directly to BCSP for the TSP designation, subject to BCSP’s current application requirements and applicable dates.
