GIC2 RREPORT GUIDELINE 2026 VERSION
What is the NEBOSH IGC course fee in Pakistan?
At Inspire Safety College (ISC) in Faisalabad, the NEBOSH IGC course fee is Rs35,000, which includes study materials and instructor support. Fees vary between training providers across Pakistan, so always confirm exactly what is included (materials, exam fees, resits) before enrolling anywhere.
Is NEBOSH IGC training available in Faisalabad?
Yes. ISC delivers NEBOSH IGC training at its Faisalabad campus with blended online and classroom learning, so students in Faisalabad, Lahore, Multan and nearby cities don't need to travel to Karachi or Islamabad for accredited NEBOSH training.
How long does the NEBOSH IGC course take to complete?
The qualification is split into two units — GIC1 (Management of Health and Safety, assessed through a 24-hour open-book exam) and GIC2 (a practical workplace risk assessment project). Most ISC students complete both units within approximately 150 hours of combined study, coursework and assessment time.
What is the difference between NEBOSH IGC and IOSH Managing Safely?
NEBOSH IGC is a broader, internationally recognized qualification aimed at safety officers, advisors and managers, while IOSH Managing Safely is a shorter course built for line managers and supervisors who need practical day-to-day safety skills. Many professionals in Pakistan complete IOSH Managing Safely first, then progress to NEBOSH IGC.
Do I need prior experience to enrol in NEBOSH IGC?
No formal prerequisites are required to join NEBOSH IGC at ISC. A basic understanding of English is necessary, since NEBOSH assessments are written and marked in English.
Who awards the NEBOSH IGC certificate, and does it expire?
NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health), a UK-based awarding body, issues the IGC certificate. It does not expire and there are no renewal fees once you've passed.
What jobs can I get after completing NEBOSH IGC in Pakistan?
Graduates commonly work as HSE Officers, Safety Supervisors, Safety Inspectors or Health & Safety Coordinators across Pakistan's construction, textile, oil & gas and manufacturing sectors, and the qualification is also widely recognized by employers in the Gulf region.
Can I take the NEBOSH IGC exam online?
Yes. GIC1 is assessed through an online open-book examination, and GIC2 is a workplace-based risk assessment report that can be completed and submitted remotely, alongside ISC's classroom support in Faisalabad.
